Not only do I love fashion but I also love all things art related and I am a gallery and museum junkie honestly. Seeing visual art when attending an exhibit, always make me feel inspired and helps be draw inspiration from different variations of creativity that I can use to fuel my creative fire within fashion.

Before going to this exhibit and finding out about it through some research I didn’t even know that there was a Museum of Contemporary Art here in Detroit and once I found out I was excited to go because the one in Chicago was great!

The Exhibit itself was amazing, it was separated into three rooms, 2 with paintings and 1 with film and the third room also had the big KAWS statues that I’m sure you’ve seen all over through social media because there have been different exhibits where the artist (he goes by KAWS as well) has them.

Overall I loved the exhibit, although the MoCA itself was lack luster. Art is something I love, and any time I get to indulge in it by going to a gallery or museum I do.

When you don't have anything to wear you make it!

February 29, 2016 ShaKayla Eaddy

The shirt that I'm wearing in this picture can you believe that it didn't come like that? It was actually just a regular mesh shirt from Forever 21 that I had only worn once that I decided to just cut holes in! You know how you were originally supposed to wear a certain outfit and you end up wearing something totally different and it comes out better than you thought? Well that's what happen with this outfit! I originally planned on wearing something completely different to this art show I attended, but it was snowing really bad(the Chicago weather was hating on my new outfit) so I had to put together something else to wear and I COULD NOT figure out what to wear, I didn't know what to do, then I got the bright idea to cut up this shirt I never really wore before and I paired it with some ripped jeans, gold jewelry, a white fur shall collar from Zara, a really cute bra for decoration, a black bomber jacket, and these cute sunglasses from Forever 21. The outfit came out really cute and I'm proud of this last minute outfit and what I originally bought to wear can be saved for something really special!
