When I first saw this skirt, the color and material is what drew me in. I loved the fact that it was pleated, I could wear it high waist and when I got it I loved that it zipped which made it fit my waist perfectly. Most times when I buy something I am drawn to it because I know I can wear it in many ways, whenever I get something I want my money's worth.

You know when you order something and then within five minutes you're wondering why the mailman hasn't delivered it yet? Well that's how I was with this skirt. When I took it out the box I couldn't wait to style, not only was it cute, but I got it on sale.
This skirt can be dressed up or down. With heels or sneaker, and a blouse or a t-shirt. It's that universal piece that you can accessorize to fit whatever occasion you're wearing it to, or wherever you're going.

We all know there is nothing like a denim on denim outfit, but there is also always ways to make it even better or mix it up. I love denim and the different looks you can create with it. You can always add a different accessory like a build or a pop of color with a cute paid of shoes,
One day I got the bright idea to take the chain off of one of my purses and wear it as a belt, I chose to wear it with this particular outfit, because to me it gave the look a 90's feeling, especially after adding these thigh high boots and scrunching them down.
A lot of the times you can create many different look just by using the clothing and resources you already have. Also when you have ideas for outfits just try them out and see if you like it and by trying the purse strap as a belt, I LOVED.

As I always say, there's nothing like a good third piece, especially one that is very versatile and a solid color so it can go with anything. I found this amazing velvet robe at a thrift store for such a good price that I couldn't even pass it up.
Besides a good robe and a good deal, I love mixing prints and textures. I paired this black velvet and satin robe with a pair of striped pants.I feel like the two items were perfect for each other, especially with the red lip and detailed earrings. This look has so many hidden details from head to toe, including the snakeskin booties, perfect for fall.
Adding this third piece made this outfit as a whole more impactful, than if I was to just put on a black shirt and call it a day. Having that third piece especially in the fall, can take an outfit from 0 to 100 real quick.

Here in Chicago our fall weather is coming and the wind is a force to be reckoned with. Fall is my favorite time for Fashion. In the fall and winter, fashion gets creative and GOOD. My favorite things about fall fashion is layering and being able to wear pieces from different seasons just by adding a different accessory or third piece.
I caught this jumpsuit on sale at Zara sometime last year, and I love it. I've worn this jumpsuit in the summer, but turned it into a fall piece by adding boots, a turtleneck, and a jacket to stay warm. Although I love everything about this jumpsuit, I still have a love/hate relationship with it because I'm so short and it's so long. But to sure the problem of length I just added a cute heel boot. This outfit was the perfect way to show how layering some pieces once the seasons change can keep you cute and warm along with keeping you from buying more clothes, especially if you already have so many like I do .

As you all may know from previous posts, I love a good fur piece whether its a jacket, vest, or accessory. Now that it is Fall and we are in the colder months of the year I will be styling my looks with more fur accents and cozy pieces.
Here in Chicago we are starting to get our Fall whether finally and this look was perfect for a windy fall day. The base of this look was a cute V-neck leather dress that I purchased from Zara last year, I paired it with a brown fur vest that I got from Zara and put my favorite fur jacket on top just for a bit more fun and chicness. I kept the accessories in this look simple by putting on a cute pair of nude booties and my signature red lipstick. I loved this look and on top of this great look I was having an amazing hair day as well.
It's a bonus when your hair and outfit come out great, that combination is a cause for an amazing day. I wish great hair days and looks for all of my fashionistas this Fall and Winter. Fall and Winter are my favorite fashion months because of the amazing third pieces, cute shoes and comfy/chic clothes. I can't wait to show you all of my Fall/Winter fashions and to see yours as well.

Half of my wardrobe consists of mostly all black, which is basically what I wear almost everyday. There's nothing like a great black piece of clothing or pair of shoes, because it can go with anything. In your closet you should always have something in the basic colors like black, white, tan and grey.
Three of these pieces I am wearing are my absolute favorite. This sweater, the flared hem jeans and these amazing booties are some of the best pieces I have in my closet, and what's better than wearing them all at the same time. This look is great for that cool Fall weather and these shoes are a staple for an amazing Fall wardrobe.

One thing I love is ruffles!! When I saw this top I knew I needed it, it had ruffles, was checkered and had an attached corset belt. This shirt can develop so many looks from pairing it with many different skirts and pants.
This shirt is a statement piece in itself, so you never need to do too much when wearing it. I paired the shirt with a pair of plain light wash jeans and some thigh high nude boots. This shirt and these boots combined are nothing, but fabulous.

There's nothing like a good blouse and a good pair of jeans, especially in the Fall. I thrifted this shirt which was apart of an all satin pajama set, but like I always do I wear things a different way than I am supposed to. This shirt is so versatile because I can either wear the whole set together (which is also here on the blog) or wear each piece separately.
I chose to pair the shirt with one of my favorite pairs of jeans and tie it at the bottom for a more chic look. I kept it simple by just wearing a brown pair of heel boots and gold earrings. This look was perfect for a day of class and work, it was comfortable and cute which is always a plus in fashion.

I love a good monochromatic look with a pop of color. I feel like when you wear any outfit monochromatic sometimes you need something of a different color like a third piece or a different color shoe to break everything up.
With this look I wore all grey as my base and added on this great pink ruffle shoulder duster and silver shoes that I did a DIY project on to add fur (There is a blog post on here if you want to check out how I did this project). This look was great to just be comfortable and go from class to work during the week.

Fashion rules are being broken daily and the fashion world is constantly changing. I never followed rules, especially with my clothes, I wear what I want how I want no matter who likes it. Which is what differentiates fashion from style.
I was going to an event and the attire was business casual, but I put my own twist to it. I kept it very business casual with a long black blazer and high waist black pants, but added a Star Wars graphic for some flare. I feel that the graphic tee was added so subtly that it didn't take from the fact that I was still business casual. I paired this look with my favorite black boots and a black purse with suede accents. This look is perfect for a casual event or meeting but is still very professional.

I love clothing that is just extremely comfortable from the fabrics to the fit, and this outfit was just that. I thrifted these over-sized jeans, although they are very over-sized the waist fit really well which I loved. The fit of these jeans allows me to pair it with a fitted top like a bodysuit or blouse and the pants leg allows me to pair it with cute heels if I want.
I wanted to stay comfortable so I didn't wear heels or anything, I just paired these jeans with a plain black turtleneck, a denim jacket with fur accent and buttoned it so it would be off the shoulder. I cuffed the pants leg and just threw on some black Nike's. This look was very comfortable but chic because of the way I buttoned the jacket for it to be off the shoulder and my signature red lip. Fashion comes from all places which is why I shop everywhere, 90% of this outfit was thrifted.
