We all may have clothing from one season that we love, but we don't know how to make it suitable for the next season. Me personally I don't shop by season, when the seasons change I might buy a fee pieces, but I don't revamp my wardrobe. I do this because I know how to make different things work for the changing seasons.
This outfit is a perfect example of working with what you have and making a certain piece suitable for a new season. I wore this slip dress over the summer, as you may have seen in a previous blog post. But since it's fall now and I love this dress I figured "why not make it work". To make sure I was still warm I added a thick cropped shirt under the dress, added a jacket, some tights and a cute pair of boots. This look came out perfect and just shows how versatile your clothing can be.
