Entrepreneurship is a true test of “how bad do you want it”

Becoming an entrepreneur is the true test of seeing how bad you want something, it tests you to see if you’re willing to get up everyday and try, to see if you’re willing to go hunt food for your plate, it tests if you’re disciplined enough to push forward when you don’t feel motivated. Entrepreneurship isn’t about an aesthetic or posting a cute picture, it’s about your work ethic and skill set. It’s about refining your craft during your busy and slow seasons, it’s about showing up for your brand everyday because you are the billboard. Entrepreneurship is living enough life to even breed ideas to execute.

Entrepreneurship is getting back up and trying again every single time, it doesn’t matter if the idea worked, if it didn’t work, if you lost or gained money, you have to keep pushing and you have to keep going. You have to show up every single day as if you were going to get fired for a no call no show. Despite popular belief entrepreneurship was never the easy way out, it will actually reveal that it’s the hardest path to follow, but the most rewarding. Entrepreneurship is the character development to the story of your life.

Entrepreneurship is the work and the grind but it’s also learning yourself inside out, it’s facing the hard things, it’s realizing when ideas or ventures no longer work, it’s knowing when an opportunity or client doesn’t align with you no matter how much you might gain, it’s setting boundaries and staying true to them, it’s creating systems, it’s creating policies and building a foundation that you and your dreams can stand on. In entrepreneurship you will never know the answers and the only way you learn what was the right and wrong way to go is through experience.

Entrepreneurship is vulnerable, it’s sacred and rewarding all at the same time. You’re displaying your ideas and your babies in front of the world for anyone to judge but having their back regardless of what’s said. Entrepreneurship is pouring your money into something even if you’re the only one that believes in it right now. Entrepreneurship is pouring into your vision until people see it for the art you always said it was.

Put some respect on your name, craft, ideas and ventures and make sure everybody else does the same because entrepreneurship is building the plane while flying it.
