Follow that dream until the wheels fall off

September 12, 2025 ShaKayla Eaddy

It’s so easy for people to encourage you that something is too hard or that thing you want might not work out, but if you want it that bad turn your ears off to the background noise and don’t stop until you make that dream come true. It’s possible but nobody guaranteed you that it would get accomplished quick or gave you a timeline of how long it would take.

Any winner that you come across or person that created major success they will tell you it took them awhile to get to the place they wanted to be, it took hard work, it took trial and error, it took long nights, it took early mornings, it took getting out of their comfort zone, it took trying new things, it took being resourceful, it took so much to now be able to tell the story, so what makes you think you’re exempt from the grind and the process?

If you are willing to give up so easily then this may not have been the path for you anyway. Think about it, what if you chose to give up today and tomorrow was the day it was all going to pay off. What if you talked yourself out of that one idea and that idea is what was going to change your life. Put your goals and dreams before your feelings, your emotions and your ego. The dream is bigger than your mood. Don’t be the one responsible for killing your own dream because you chose to listen to everybody else that’s not where you want to be in the first place.

Don’t be so arrogant that you think you deserve the success without the hardwork and dedication. Nothing comes free and nobody has ever gotten anything that lasted without putting the work in. Stop thinking about the small picture and think big. The big goal isn’t the only milestone, focus on the steps it takes to get to the goal. Don’t be the person that was willing to ride for any and everything but not their own goals and dreams.

I ride everyday at dawn about mine, how about you?
