If you've noticed this is my absolute favorite jacket, I love it because one it has fur and two it's FABULOUS and so me. There's so many different things that I can pair with it to make each outfit I wear with it so different and the fun part is I never get tired of it.
This time I decided to go all blue with my outfit to make the blue in the jacket pop out. I paired the jacket with a soft short sleeve blue shirt that has a faux denim look and tucked it into ripped boyfriend jeans cuffed at the ankle and paired this look with my go to nude mesh booties. When looking to be comfortable you don't always have to throw on sweats, you can throw on comfortable and cozy fabrics and still be as comfortable

Shirt: Forever 21// Skirt: Forever 21// Shoes: Sheikh Shoes//
Have you seen those skirts that kind of look like tied up plaid shirts? Aren't they cute?? Well I think so but instead of me buying one of those skirts I am actually just wearing a plaid shirt that I tied up into a skirt (I'm such a fan of wearing things how they aren't supposed to be worn).
Designers such as Faith Connexion and fast fashion retailers like Zara have participated in this great trend, but I am a strong advocate for not buying anything that I could probably make myself and put my own twist on. I buttoned the shirt around my waist and tied it until it didn't move. I paired it with a denim shirt and knee high black lace boots. This look came out great, a little really does go a long way and I participated in a great look without spending any money, this is a win, win situation!

I love shoes and I can always appreciate a good boot, especially if it's a thigh high. I caught this beautiful boot on sale, when I wasn't supposed to be shopping. It's funny how you always find the good stuff when you shouldn't be spending any money. These were a must have and they definitely had to come home with me.
I always love a good thigh high especially in any neutral color, because you can wear it with so many different things. Boots are so versatile because you can pair them with skirts, jeans, dresses etc and they fit any and every occasion for the most part. If you have bigger calves or thighs these will definitely look great on you, because you don't have to worry about them falling or you having to pull them up. It's great to have staple shoes in your closet so you're able to switch it up from head to toe when you want.

Right now my favorite type of heel is the heel bootie. I love it in the clear plastic material, the mesh and the tight spandex material. I love these because they are very comfortable to walk in but very stylish and you can style them in many ways. These heels are very versatile because you can basically wear them year around, in my opinion.
With me being a heel lover it's hard for me to choose a favorite shoe but these here have had my heart for the past few months. I wear these so much but I'm always able to style them differently, a lot of the time it's not about how much of something you have but how many times you can do something different with it.

Jacket: Thrifted// Jeans: Forever 21// Boots: Akira
When you find a piece that you love stick with it! I absolutely love this denim jacket that I thrifted a couple of months ago, any chance that I have to wear it, I do! I love the tan fur accents on the collar and cuffs of the sleeves.
Although everyone loves a denim item, it gets a little iffy when it comes to mixing light and dark denim and you have to be careful. I didn't know exactly how I felt about this outfit when putting it together. Every piece was so different because of the contrast in color, but fashion is all about taking risks and the outfit ended up working out for me. You can mix all types of different things together, but you'll never know how it'll look until you try.

Today marks one year since this blog has been up and running. This year blogging has been amazing, I have had ups and downs and have learned many things. My blog has grown and will continue to grow and get better. The hard thing about being a blogger is being able to get out quality content and pictures, you never want to just rush things but you also don't want to lose your growing audience by being inconsistent. With a blog consistency and hard work is key and they make the world go round.
Just like everything else in the world blogging isn't always glitz, glam and fashion, but it's about making sure that your heart is in it and making sure that you are being authentic in the things that you post and not just keeping up with trends that may be popular on other blogs. Blogging is a learning process. Anybody reading this that is think about starting a blog, if you are afraid that you can't do it because you don't have the perfect camera or whatever the case may be, you can't wait for things to be perfect because you'll be waiting forever. You have to be able to take risks, and the key to starting is to just start no matter what just start right now. Some days may feel uncomfortable or scary but that's a sign of growth. Happy 1 year and for all of the people that visit my blog, I appreciate it more than you'll ever know.

I ordered a new liquid lipstick called "Limbo" by ColourPop and I absolutely love the color and how matte it is, when I put on the lipstick I felt that it was only right to pair it with an outfit that had all types of nude, tan and brown tones in it and I had also just purchased these new boots and they were a perfect combo.
I chose to pair my caramel color fur vest with the outfit and tied in tan pants and a harvest orange shirt. There's is nothing wrong with wearing all colors of the same family or even going completely monogram, especially during the Winter and Fall.

Dress: Forever 21// Turtleneck: Forever 21// Boots: Sheikh shoes//
When it's cold outside short sleeves or tank sleeves are a definite NO, to solve the problem of not wanting to wear short sleeved dresses in the freezing cold I put a black long sleeved turtleneck over the top and magically it looked like it was all one dress and was very stylish if I do say so myself.
For me this idea was great because I was able to wear one of my favorite solid color dresses and not freeze to death. There are always ways around wearing clothing from the Spring and Fall and even the Summer during the Winter and this was one of those ways! The Winter time is your time to get creative with your clothing and try different things.

Dress: Forever 21// Fur: Forever 21//
In the Winter time you always need a fur and sweater dress and they are even more perfect worn together. These two paired together creates a chic comfortable look, this look can easily be worn anywhere because it's not too flashy and not too dressed down but meets right in the middle.
By taking a simple dress and adding a chic piece over it whether its a jacket, sweater or cardigan you take your look to a whole new level. Another great thing about this dress is it's turtle neck, I love a great turtleneck whether it's a sweater or a dress. I didn't add any jewelry except for my favorite big hoops because I wants to keep the look very simple.
Shirts: Tommy Hilfiger (thrifted)// Skirt: Love Culture// Fur: Forever 21//
So I absolutely loved the idea of letting an oversized shirt hang from underneath your skirt which was first done by Rihanna. When I saw the look on Rihanna I knew I wanted to recreate it but didn't know exactly how.
When I finally decided I was going to recreate Rihanna's look it wasn't planned or anything, it was just one of those outfits that happen and came together. I decided to use a men's Tommy Hilfiger shirt I thrifted because of it's length paired it with a denim skirt and added this emerald green fur that I took off of a coat I bought from Forever 21. This look came out exactly as I imaged and I appreciate Rihanna for giving me the idea!
