Staying Cozy while Keeping it Cute
Jacket: Boutique in LA (Apologies I don't remember the name)// Turtleneck: Thrifted from Village Discount// Pants: Forever 21// Shoes: DSW//
I love being comfortable, without sacrificing what I like to call my "stylish behaviors". Which involves me wearing a lot of faux fur jackets and also turtle necks, which I love and wish I had more of. As far as comfortable bottoms, I used to not be such a fan of denim jeans, but now I am definitely a sucker for a comfortable pair of jeans.
I bought this comfortable shaggy cardigan while in LA, it sheds A LOT, but its still cute. I paired it with a very comfortable turtleneck that's a tad too big but it works for me and I got it for $2 or $4, which was definitely a bonus. For bottoms I chose this amazing and comfortable pair of high-waisted bell bottom jeans. I loved this outfit because it was so cute yet so comfortable. To keep from having my pants drag on the floor since I'm short, without wearing heels, I put on these amazing platforms and it was the perfect touch to complete this outfit.
There's nothing wrong with wearing sweats, but they aren't particularly my style, so I love a cute and comfortable outfit especially during this season and when I have to go to class and/or work.
Multi-purpose Camouflage Jacket
Jacket: Thrifted from Village Discount// Boots: Calvin Klein// Purse: Forever 21//
I'm always the type that wears something a different way than it is intended for. I believe that 85% of the clothing that you buy should be multi-purpose, because I like to get all of my money's worth. Why invest in clothing if you can only wear it once, on my blog I'm all about doing and using different tips and tricks with my clothing to spice up my style without breaking the bank.
Awhile back I thrifted this great men's camouflage jacket for only about $12, it's very oversized which is what I love about it. For this look I chose to wear it as a dress, I wore a black hoodie and leggings underneath to stay warm, but I added a cute black belt with gold accents to add more attention to the fact that I was wearing it as a dress. I chose not to wear any accessories except for a signature red lip using Rihanna's Fenty Beauty Stunna. I loved this look and you can dress it up by adding heels or keeping it comfortable with boots.
When looking to be a little different don't pass up turning some of your jackets in dresses, or jackets, skirts into tops or dresses or turning anything you have into being multi-purpose.

Kimono or No?
Kimono: Zara// Short: Forever 21// Pants: Love Culture// Shoes: Akira//
Recently Zara had their sale that happens twice a year and I went in and grabbed just a few things, and this kimono was one of them. Since I purchased it I've been trying to figure out if it is a dress or kimono, but me being me, I'm going to just wear it as both.
I grabbed this kimono for only $12.99 and the original price was $49.99, I love a good deal so I absolutely couldn't pass it up. With statement pieces you usually want to keep your actual outfit ,or the canvas, fairly simple so the attention can be directed to the statement piece. For my outfit I just pulled out colors from the kimono and wore this zipped crop top which is so cute and versatile and a pair of olive green pants, along with one of my favorite pairs. I didn't really wear accessories, because I wasn't really going anywhere, but if I was going out I would have probably added one or two accessories and a cute lipstick.
It's best to get clothing that is versatile and can be worn many ways or more than once. You want to get your money's worth so why not invest in a great closet.
Mini Patent Leather Skirts
Shirt: Thrifted by Girl Goodies// Skirt: Forever 21// Boots: Boohoo// Purse: Target
There's nothing like a good skirt especially when it's a nice material like patent leather and has cute details like a cute zipper going across it. Things like this skirt is something that can be worn in spring, fall, and winter. Yes, it's freezing out and people may as why you would ever want to wear a skirt, but me I just put on some tights with mine and go on about my day.
For this look I kept it very cute and simple. I added a very cure blouse that cuffed at the wrist and has a nice fit. When you have a pair of bottoms that flair, it's best to have a top that's fitted so your outfit will still create a nice silhouette. I wore this top because I also wanted to make sure it could be tucked in so that the details in the skirt could still be seen.
As I always say you can still be cute and warm in the winter, you just have to get creative with your style by adding things like cute tights, layering or adding a third piece.

Boss Lady Ritual
Shirt: Young $tylish Lifestyle// Pants: Thrifted GAP// Jacket: Forever 21// Shoes: DSW// Bag: Target//
The most important tool that you can have in business is the power of self-promotion. It is important that you promote and motivate yourself no matter who or how many people are watching. You should be the billboard for your brand and product.
I always find new ways to rock my Young $tylish Lifestyle merchandise, especially my favorite piece, which is the Boss Lady Ritual tee. This time I styled it with this amazing velour puffer coat that I got from Forever 21, some amazing platform patent leather shoes and my favorite jeans that have an amazing fit. I topped this cute chill look with some amazing sunglasses, what's better than sun blockers in the winter.
Nah. I said what I said.
Shirt: The Charles H. Wright Museum in Detroit Michigan// Jacket: Forever 21// Shorts: Thrifted// Boots: Akira//
I have done a blog post on this shirt previously, but I will still never get enough of it. The shirt says one word, but I feel that it perfectly represents what Rosa Parks did and stood for on the day she was asked to move her seat on that bus and she didn't , but states it in modern terms.
I stand by the mantra "If you stand for nothing you'll fall for anything." and I feel that it can be translated into any part of life, especially in today's society. This time I styled my shirt a little different, by wearing shorts in the winter, but pairing them with some amazing thigh high boots.
I added a blazer, which gave this look an edgy street style classic vibe, with a panda broach that was passed down to me from my grandmother. This look is great because it's so chill, but like my shirt it makes a great statement
Bell Sleeves with a Little Glitter
Shirt: Forever 21// Jacket: Cest la Vie// Jeans: Forever 21// Boots: Boohoo// Purse: Target//
When I saw this top I knew I had to get it, it had some shimmer, bell sleeves and might I add a little cropped number never hurt nobody. Not only was this top gorgeous but it was on sale. If you've kept up with my blog, you know I love a good sale.
I kept this look very glam and chic, without trying too hard. I paired the top with my favorite boyfriend jeans and jacket and wore a great black bootie with a black clutch to tie it in. Also I can't forget this beautiful chocker, which added such a great touch of glam with the shirt. This look is great for a date or dinner with friends. You can never be overdressed and this look embodies that statement.

Sometimes You Just Need Inspiration
When being in the fashion industry sometimes you come to a point where to create new and fresh ideas and projects, you just need some inspiration from different places. With needing more inspiration you may also want to seek from sources outside of fashion so that your work can be as creative as possible.
Along with finding inspiration sometimes you have to go back to your roots to get back in touch with why you enjoy something and what made you fall in love with it to begin with. Since I've been back home for winter break I have gone through my magazine collection, that consists of magazines I have collected over the years (mainly Vogue) so that I can gain inspiration for upcoming projects and get more in touch with my I became passionate for fashion to begin with.
Some times you need to get back to your roots and get back in touch with what made you fall in love with something to begin with, and there's nothing wrong with that. No matter how long you have done something you will never know too much, and you will always be able to learn something new.

Glitz and Glam
Shirt: Forever 21// Pants: GAP thrifted by Girl Goodies Brand// Socks: Forever 21// Shoes: Lola Shoetique//
If you're a girly girl like me then you must enjoy a piece of clothing that sparkles and shines. When I saw this shirt I knew that I had to get it and then I ended up finding matching socks and immediately envisioned the perfect outfit.
Tops like this are perfect for the holiday season and can be dressed down and worn as a statement or dressed up and be perfect for a holiday party or special holiday occasion. I loved the fact that I was able to ironically find matching socks and pair them with some heels. This outfit was perfect and was paired with just the right amount of accessories for the look I was going for. The black jeans were the perfect touch, because they fit perfectly and had just the right amount of a flared leg.
Jumpsuits are Festive
Jacket: Cest la Vie// Jumpsuit: Love Culture// Shoes: Akira
I'm pretty sure that you guys have been trying to figure out what to wear for the holidays, with Christmas being here and New Year's being around the corner, I felt it was the perfect time to give you guys some holiday outfit tips.
One tip for finding a holiday outfit is that you can never go wrong with a cute jumpsuit, simply because the are comfortable and loose that way after you eat all of the delicious holiday food you won't feel uncomfortable in your clothes.
You can choose a simple or really dressy jumpsuit and then add a jacket and cute accessories to dress it up and really show off your holiday spirit. Three things to keep in mind when shopping for holiday clothes is comfortability, something cute, and something easy to dress up or down
Leather Bell Bottoms are still in
Forever 21// Pants: Thrifted by Girl Goodies Brand// Shoes: Forever 21//
As you all may know by now if you have checked out other blog posts pf mine, I love a good off-the shoulder shirt, so when I saw this off the shoulder sweater I knew it was a must-have for my closet. In the winter it's so fun to find cute pieces that will keep you warm and be fitting for a good picture or outing and both this top and these pants did exactly that.
Aside from this amazing off-the-shoulder sweater, get into these leather pants! I love a good bell bottom, and these being leather was just the icing on the cake. They fit really good and I loved the length, especially with me being so short it's hard to find a good length bell bottom, but these were the perfect fit. This look is great for any chill outing to be comfortable and still very cute. You can add many cute accessories or keep it very simple with just one cute accessory.
Shoulders and Knees Out
Shirt: Forever 21// Jeans: Forever 21// Boots: Boohoo//
As a woman there's always a few staples you need to have in your closet. In my opinion two very important things is a pair of ripped jeans and an off-the-shoulder shirt. A good pair of jeans has always been a staple, but you may wonder why I say the off-the shoulder shirt. A good off-the shoulder shirt is great because it's so versatile, you can dress it up or down. It can come in many different designs and colors and gives you chic and a tad of sexiness.
In the winter don't feel that you have to put away clothes that you would consider only suitable for Spring or Fall because you can easily transition them to Winter by adding layers, accessories or a third piece. With this outfit the off-the-shoulder shirt was a thick flannel so it made it great for the cold weather and I added cute boots and a cute thick coat to make sure I was still warm. It's nothing at all wrong with having your shoulders and knees out in the winter, as long as you aren't wearing tank tops and shorts in 15 degree weather.
